IV Dressing with Paper Frame

Description

IV Dressing is a transparent dressing made of high-permeability polyurethane film and special moisture-permeable medical acrylic adhesive through a special coating process. Transparent dressing permits evaluation of wound progress. Waterproof. The frame border allows for easy application to hard-to-conform areas.

Indications

• Fixation of IV catheters, PICCs, CVCs, etc.
• Care for skin in friction areas or skin in wet conditions.
• Protection for the slight bruise wounds, cut wounds, suturing wounds, etc.
• Secondary fixation for other dressings.

Instruction for Use

• Clean and thoroughly dry the application area.
• Peel off the backing paper marked.
• Centre the dressing over the catheter insertion site. Place the dressing on the catheter hub and adhere the dressing to the patient’s skin.
• Remove the remaining protector paper marked
• Finally place the date label from section on the skin or the dressing (without obscuring the view of the catheter site)
