Description

Super Absorbent Dressing Silicone Adherent is suitable for the treatment of moderate to severe exudative wounds, including: leg ulcers, pressure sores, diabetic foot ulcers and surgical wound cracks.

Scope of application

Super absorbent pads (SAP) and silicone adhesive are suitable for various acute and chronic exudative wounds. Absorb the seepage water and lock in the liquid. Excellent cushioning performance and high wearing comfort. Silicone-coated contact layers and plates

Dressing Use:

1. Clean the wound in accordance with the local clinical procedures.
2. Choose a dressing that leaves a 3-centimeter margin around the wound.
3. Apply the white side down (the blue side up) to the wound and secure it with a secondary dressing (tape or bandage).
4. If the level of exudate from the wound changes, the application of the dressing should be re-evaluated.

Contraindications:
Patients who are known to be allergic to the product itself or its components (including sodium polyacrylate super absorbent polymer). Since the dressing expands when the exudate from the wound is absorbed, it is not suitable for dressing the wound pocket. Do not use it on wounds with almost no exudate, as this may cause the wound to dry out.

Recommended secondary dressings:
Elastic net fixed dressings or fixed bandages. Medical tape should not be used because the dressing will expand and it will absorb the fluid from the wound.
