Description

Non-adhesive Foam Dressing for tracheostomy is useful for tracheostomy site care. Tracheostomy is a surgical opening directly into the trachea to establish an airway. A tracheostomy tube is inserted and connected to a mechanical ventilator or another oxygen delivery device.

Instructions for Use

• Clean and dry the wound and its surrounding area.
• Remove the dressing from packaging and apply to the wound.
• Use a secondary dressing or bandage to secure the foam dressing in place.
• Replace the dressing every 24 hours or earlier if wound exudates are seeping to the edge of the dressing.
